Many Thank You's!
Community Food Bank of NJ
Every week this season, we packed boxes for the CFBNJ. We were fortunate to be a part of a grant that paid farmers to grow food for feeding programs, like food banks, called LFPA (Local Food Purchase Assistance). This program helped to build and expand economic opportunity for local producers, deepen partnerships with food pantries, and bring fresh, NJ grown food to families in need. Unfortunately, USDA canceled federal funding for the LFPA program. Going forward, we are hopeful the state will come up with a similar model to keep this good thing going.
Cheer them on!
Many thanks to our dedicated crew members for helping to grow lots of good food and tough it out with us! No matter the early mornings, long days, heat waves, heavy harvests, weedy fields, lengthy to-do lists, our team gets the job done. We are grateful for their hard work, professionalism and the camaraderie. Let's give it up for our farmers!
2025 keeping the dream alive!
Thank you for your support this season.
